Racing Options |
You and your family can participate in five different ways:
Individual 5K Run, Team 5K Run (for 5 runners),
5K Relay(for 3 runners), Fun Walk, or Kids’ Run.
Kids’ Run:
There will be a short run for all children 10 and under prior to the Run/Walk kickoff.
The Kids’ Run will begin at 8:30am, so make sure you arrive early. All participants will receive a prize. Kids can still participate in the 5K Run or Fun Walk in addition to the Kids’ run, but must register for each (no registration needed for Kids’ Run).
5K Run (individual & team event):
This is a competitive event on a USTFA Certified course, with prizes for the top three competitors in each age/gender group. In addition, prizes will be awarded for the top three teams of five runners. The run circles part of the Tech Campus and then extends down Centerton Road towards CSEDS. This is a beautiful and somewhat challenging course which was much enjoyed last year.
5K Relay:
A team of three runners will compete in a relay event, passing a baton to teammates at the one and two-mile mark. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes will be awarded to each of the 3 team members.
Fun Walk:
There will be a walk around the Tech Campus of about 1 to 1½ miles, encouraging all employees and their families to get out and exercise their way to better health. |
Online Registration has closed. Race Day Registration will be held from 7:30 to 8:30 am in the Tech Campus Parking Lot.
