MK 41 VLS is the only launching system capable of rapidly firing a combination of Anti-Air, Anti-Surface, Anti Submarine Warfare and Land Strike missiles. MK 41 VLS is unique in that it has simultaneous, multi-warfare capability.

Any missile of tactical significance to the allied navies can be integrated with MK 41 VLS. The canister’s standard exterior dimensions and connections allow any missile in any cell. The internal canister kit adapts to the features of each missile type.

The VLS team is consistently demonstrating its ability to provide risk free integration of new tactical weapons. Now our engineers are working on integration of Evolved Seasparrow and evaluating Aster missiles integration for ship self defense. In support of Theater Ballistic Missile Defense (TBMD) engineers are integrating SM-2 BLK IVa for Navy Area Warfare and SM-3 for Navy Theater Warfare.
